This group of friends were visiting Roatan from Colorado, and decided this was the perfect time to try out scuba diving. They had enjoyed the snorkeling in West End, but they wanted to get a closer look at Roatan's beautiful marine world. After starting out in the classroom learning about the essentials of diving safety, the guys went into Half Moon Bay to practice some key skills. They did great on their confined water skills, and soon it was time for their open water dive!
The group went to Octopus Acre, and were lucky enough to encounter a hawksbill turtle, a spotted moray eel on the move and loads of fish and sea cucumbers. All four guys were complete naturals in the water, and had so much fun that they can't wait to go diving again! We know they'll do great if they pursue their PADI Open Water Diver course, and we're looking forward to diving them all again some day as certified divers.
Job well done Grant, Justin, Clay and Joel!
